AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals in the US offers mindfulness meditation courses aimed at energizing its 5,000 employees during and after marathon meetings.   AstraZeneca now fund research and support mindfulness programmes.
Mindful Forces aims to introduce Mindfulness to small and large organisations such as local companies, the Scottish Education Service, UK Armed Forces and Police Scotland.

Invite us to come to your workplace to deliver a tailor-made 90 minute presentation to your team. This will include scientific background theory to Mindfulness practice and some short 'take-away' practices to increase awareness. There will be time for sharing of experiences, thoughts, Q and A, advice on how to continue with Mindfulness at home and work.

THE HIDDEN COST OF WORKPLACE STRESS

Work-related stress is one of the most commonly reported causes of occupational ill-health in Britain. It not only damages health and wellbeing but can also harm an organisation's productivity, competitiveness, reputation and profitability.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) estimates that 11 million days a year are lost at work due to stress.

HSE estimates that for every £1 claimed through insurance for employee ill health £8-36 is lost due to sick pay, lost output, loss of expertise and loss of reputation.
